4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July. We somehow seemed to stay pretty busy. We started the morning in Dewitt at the parade. We had a picnic in the afternoon at Grandma Vyrlee's and ended the night at Grandma and Grandpa Meyermann's watching fireworks and cooking smores over the fire. Clayton really enjoyed getting to do sparklers and also the neat fireworks! Claire watched some but managed to sleep through most of it!! We also went to the Riverboat Day parade. Clayton has decided that he really does not care for the sirens on the fire trucks. He repeatedly would say "I scared." He stayed pretty close to Troy. Hard to believe that July is here. The summer is going so fast.
